In 17th century Tokugawa banned Ninjutsu cause they are mostly peasant. Only samourai class and noble allowed to practice Katana and martial art. The main idea why ninjutsu came from peasant or low class use to deceive enemy. Ninja ( peasant, labour, servant, etc ) posture differ to Samourai/ Ronin. The enemy and the guard could not identified them as spy or assasin.

There is a murder spree that our cops can't solve. Better blame it on something that comes from another country and has never even been seen in any part of the country.

I don't know what makes the people of East Timor seem more silly? The fact that they think they are at war with ninjas or that they use wards?

I already knew all of these,I thought most people did but apparently not. I think the one thing people don;t know about ninjas is that they were not just spies and assassins but would fight on the battlefield and that they were almost on par with the upper tier of the samurai in terms of swordsmanship, obviously the samurai using a yari or naginata had an advantage and long shafted weapons were one of teh weapons ninjas did not use(so all the films with ninjas using bo staffs are wrong.

If someone is truly a ninja, if you know that he/she is a ninja, he/she will kill you without any traces and shit. Just to keep their identities.

They used to emphasise on strength because it a good aid in stealth situations. also picturing ninjas in suits wearing masks all the time is a stereotype because ninja comes from ninjutsu and look up on the internet a traditional ninjutsu course its like a degree with over twenty units geography and all kinds so a ninja is a graduate of ninjutsu

Ninjas likely did not wear any kind of specific "uniform" to begin with. They were peasants & farmers who covertly acted as spies & assassins. If they had some kind of specific clothing that indicated what they were, they would not have been very covert in the first place! Commoners were not allowed to have any sort of weapons, especially swords, which is why nearly all the weapons ninja used were farm implements. Ninjutsu was a way for peasants to fight back against samurai in a world where peasants had no rights or any way of standing up for themselves. While samurai were bound by the bushido code, ninjas "played dirty" in order to get the upper hand. The way ninjas are depicted in movies, they are probably far more fantasy than fact.

There's an episode of Mythbusters where they attempt to make some foot devices to allow a person to walk on water, but every design they came up with fails miserably. A lot of the "magical" aspects of ninja were often just mythical lore perpetuated by ninjas themselves as scare tactics to make people fear them more.

What I find weird is there are spelling errors in this video, and the part where it says that there were 7 disguises for a ninja, there are only six listed.
