Golden State Warriors' Steph Curry is left hanging by his daughter in video

She might have just watched her father lead the Golden State Warriors to the NBA finals.

But four-year-old Riley Curry seemed in no mood to celebrate with her father Steph after playfully refusing to give him a kiss at full-time.

The 28-year-old’s team had just beaten the Oklahoma City Thunder 96-88 in Game 7, pulling off a remarkable comeback to win the series 4-3, after trailing 3-1 and making it to the NBA finals.  

And as the celebrations began on the court at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, the clip shows Curry’s two young daughters were brought down to congratulate their father by their grandfather, Dell.

But as Curry went into give the adorable youngster a kiss, she pulled away at the last minute and began giggling at her father.

He then holds up his finger and appears to beg her for just one kiss.

And the young girl eventually relents, throwing herself at the MVP for a cuddle before he steals a kiss on her cheek and then plants a kiss on her younger sister Ryan, who was born in July last year.

The win for the Warriors last night has topped a successful season for Curry, who made NBA history by winning every single vote to be named this year’s most valuable player earlier this month.

But again his big moment was overshadowed by his playful daughter, who taunted reporters in the front row of his press conference after receiving the award.

She was seen pointing and making faces at them as her father talked of his new award.

Riley has made a habit of enchanting reporters and usurping her famous dad. Last year she crawled up into her father’s lap as he spoke.

She waved to reporters, let out a big yawn, and interrupted Curry a couple of times.

At one point, she muttered a few words and Curry told her to ‘hold on a second, OK?’ She replied, ‘Be quiet daddy,’ drawing laughs from the room.

Curry smiled and shook his head, claiming his daughter is usually more reserved.

‘She’s so funny,’ Curry said.

After last night’s victory, the Golden State Warriors will face the Cleveland Cavaliers in a mouth-watering replay of last year’s finals. The Warriors won that series, but LeBron James and the Cavs have been in excellent form, dropping only two games on their way to the finals.
