How many people you’ve slept with, how often you wash your knickers and the number of children you want are among the questions men are desperate to ask their other halves.
A group of 14 blokes told website Thought Catalog the things they would most like to know about their girlfriends but are too afraid or embarrassed to broach.
Some of the results are unsurprising, but others more unusual - but the reasons behind their curiosity also proves interesting.

But the more unusual questions included one from a man who wanted to know if his girlfriend ever wore a pair of pants two days in a row
It’s often a taboo subject in dating but one man had thought about bringing up how many sexual partners his girlfriend has had before him.
But on deliberating the potential consequences, he said he eventually decided it’s probably best not to know.
He told the website: ‘I really want to know how many people she’s slept with, but we just started dating, might be a little too personal.
‘Plus, what if she’s slept with more than I’d like to know? Probably better to just never ask that question.’

And other sexual subjects formed nearly half of the things men wanted to know - including whether their partners faked orgasms, if they’d be interested in a threesome and whether they had ever had a sexual encounter with another woman.

Meanwhile, one of the men wanted to know if his girlfriend ever looks at her vagina. ‘I saw this thing on TV where women look at themselves with a mirror, it was really weird,’ he said.
Other chaps were curious about how many children women want to have, if their partners were over their ex and if their breasts ‘were real’.
Another topic men didn’t have the guts to bring up was whether their girlfriends had ever been pregnant before.
But the most unusual question came from a inquisitive man who wanted to know about his girlfriend’s personal hygiene habits.
He wrote: ‘If she ever wears her underwear a second time without washing them. I wouldn’t judge, I’d just like to know.’
