He doesn’t quite have the finesse of David Attenborough or the deep, soothing tones of Morgan Freeman, but Snoop Dogg breathes new life (and a sizeable plume of marijuana smoke) into the nature documentary. Despite his slightly inebriated state – or perhaps because of it – Snoop provides a unique take on the format.
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Doggfather seems somewhat lacking in nature-based knowledge but gives a hilarious commentary nonetheless. Better known for his stage performances than his voiceovers, Snoop D-o-double-gizzle provides an entertaining narration of some of nature’s greatest performances.

Personally, I think that if David Attenborough ever kicks the bucket (I sincerely hope this never happens) Snoop Dogg would make for an ideal replacement. After all, it follows that a man so engrossed in botany would have an interest in the animal kingdom. Next stop: The Blue Plizzanet.
